Ministry
Children'S Ministry
is one of the Ministry areas of Interior Outreach Ministries in
association with Jawahar School.
Jawahar School was
found in the year 1974 with Government Recognition and Support by
Mr. Francis Eleti. However, it was maintained in a rented
building which was in a very damaged condition.
In the year 1992, IOM
Australia was pleased to start a Sponsorship Program to benefit
the poor and needy Children attending Jawahar School. As the
IOM's involvement grew with the school and Children's Ministry
with the School Children was also initiated.
Now, the Children's
Ministry has specific year- plan and teachers to take the
children through a systematic Bible course according to age and
interest through the Bible. The Children involve in the
Children's Ministry with more joy and enthusiasm.
Special
Children's Ministry Events: The
Children's Ministry also conducts special Children's Ministry
Events like "Puppet Shows", "Magic Shows", "Special Cultural
Shows", "Drama" , "Dance" and Competitions. On these special
days, there will be like 300 to 400 students attend the craft
secessions.
Please Pray:
The Children's Ministry at Jawahar has
several needs. We need support to provide Student copies of the
courses. We are often short of stationary, colour pencils and
craft material. We also need more teachers to handle the smaller
children separately. We are also praying for a Keyboard for the
Children's Ministry.
